im not sure who makes the wickes products, someone on here may do and will advise

theres a law in this country which prevents one manufacturer from getting a monopoloy, it works by limiting the market share. manufacturers get round this by supplying home brands for other oulets

if its a good addy and your pleased with it, use it

as for the site reviews, they weed out the ones they dont like claiming them to be inaccurate, offensive or misleading, they leave constructive criticism as its fair comment. these site reviews are a clever system as you are doing their market reserch for them and saving them a fortune, they can also identify problems with products and act quickly

theres no place in tiling for pva and anyone who reccomends you use it is ill informed and that includes some suppliers and manufacturers

okay got the picture dont recomend the pva it has no place in tiling recomend using an acryilic primer i would recomend up grading your adh to a better brand that is recomended over tiles posabily a c2 standard take existing tiles are solid not drummie at all surface will need roughing up so adh can grab are existing tiles laid on concrete as well

I've just checked the site in Toppiles, they do primer for tiling, I'll get one.
Yes, I think the existing quarry tiles are on concrete. Is there anything I need to do apart from cleaning the floor and seal it with a primer?
Also, I think I'll get a different adhesives from Toppiles as well, so far I think I should be able to get a refund from Wickes; it's not worth the risk.

If the reviews in the site are not made-up, there is a good chance the quality of Wickes tile adhesives is reasonable good. Actually, there is a very good comment from someone in the trade as well. I just have to get some decent primer in Toppiles, thanks.

I thought the wickes gear was a weber product but tend to find that sometimes the material can be down graded for cost reasons
