Hi, i have just joined the forum.Im known as Si and currently work as a bricklayer,but have decided to go on a 4 week course to train as a tiler.
To start with i am looking to work on site for a contractor and would like some ideas about what sort of money i will realistically earn,assuming that in time i will be of average speed,any comments will be greatly appreiciated,cheers,Si.

Thanks for the links,there very useful and have seen loads of recommendations for uk tiling courses in Swindon,which is the company that im going to use.Will be in touch as i will have many more questions in time.Only found this site 2 days ago and am really impressed,cheers,Si.

Not wishing to tar you with the same brush but your post reminded me of a kitchen splashbak i did a few months ago. Just to say the site blocky had tiled the previous kitchen using bricklaying skills i.e working from the corners in smack bang in the middle of the window was a 1/4 cut 150mm tile filling the gap. really interesting bit was the home owner didn't care.
