a few things i would like to ask, porcelain tiles, how different are they working with to ceramic? to cut can you use a rubi? or is it grinding only?, would you charge much more to tile porcelain? any one from kent is there much work out there? im looking if there is any around? i know everyone is in the smae boat. many thanks if any of my questions can be answered

Use a decent cutter with a good cutting wheel and you wont find it a problem. Wet cutter with good blade for windows

don't know about a rubi but a sigma cutter will cut most porcelain tiles.

what rubi cutter have you got.?

So you're looking for work, yet you're asking if cutting porcelain is the same as ceramic and if your Rubi will cut them ??

martyn ive only been tiling 2 years and in them 2 years been doing sitw work which is only ceramic tiling. i was asking if there was any work in the kent area for ceramic, id like to learn about porcelain and thats why i asked, so yes looking for tiling work!!!!

the cutter i use aswell is a rubi ts 50

a bit harsh there Martyn ,we all have to learn,yes you can use a rubi and imo no difference fixing them but the grout can take longer to go off before polishing

And make sure the adhesives you use are suitable for porcelain.
