im just wondering whether anyone has recently been on a course that gets you proper qualified in college and what was it like. Im mean not one of this training centres that dont give you a national qualification. and a night course would be better for me aswell if anyone has any suggestions i would be grateful

Hello mate i did my nvq in 2001 at the sheffield college and lasted 32 weeks full time cost £910 i think to b precise

Definately look into it type wot ever region u r from in google and ring the local colleges up that offer these courses as to give u an open prespective of tiling as a whole.

1, U get alot more for ur money at college

2, Qualifications at the end if u pass all your assemsments accordingly

I am not certain but a few people did say to me that the course has been condensed and the price also so sud be cheaper

I believe Muffman who sadly is on holiday in Mexico is currently in the middle of his Nvq and told me of many changes since i did mine.

All depends on what u want to achieve do u want to learn take ur time out and do it over a long period of time OR

Do u think u could learn the basics in a week course and go it alone and learn as u go along

All comes down to personal circumstances
