Hi all,
just heard from a tile shop employee this evening about a local filling station and food store selling HG sealers, the whole range apparently.
Is this normal or is it a sign of things to come, lol.
I'll be telling the wife when she's doing the shopping to lift me some lithofin and mapei rapid set, lol.

well they cant sell any to tilers as there are so many better products available to us, so selling them in retail outlets is probably the direction they are going down

That's £30 fuel please and a paper...OH!! and can i have a bottle of golv polish as well........

what next?? rubi tile cutters??? lol.
only joking i know you all love them out there.

i pulled in last week, was low on fuel."fill it up" i said, and went for a drink.
got back and he says "105 quid please" my light wasn't even on,lol.:8:

i put £40 in the tank of my shogun the other day, just over the 1/4 mark...the light was on mind...

Currently about 96p, but I took a gamble at the end of last year on this.

Just need to judge when the market bottoms out to get a refill. I get about 18p off pump prices so I should continue to make savings.

a tiler i know gets used chip oil for free from his local pub ,he bought a filter from halfords and filtered the old cooking oil mixes it half and half with normal diesel and runs his 2001 peugeout partner on it he reckons he gets more mpg out of it aswell, he has had his leg pulled over this but what a great idea his fuel costs are halved. you cannot do this on the newer vans so please dont read this and go out and fill up you brand new vans with used cooking oil lol

IIRC you can do this with most older deisel's as long as they dont have a turbo.
