got a polished porcelain job coming up, there not the cheap b and q ones there from tileflare how ever they still recomend i seal them, was reading the hg stop stain product for polished pors and it says you just apply it a let it soak in no need to buff the tiles afterwards, any one ever used it, if not any others they recomend

Not used that one...

But i can recommend LTP MPG sealer... specially for high surface tension tiles..

i use lithofin fz impregnator does the job for me especially designed for porcelain

I've used most of the HG range and found them all to do what they say they will, so far, as I've always stuck to their instructions by the letter.
