Hi everyone, another newcomer here. I'm Steve from Witham Essex, and recently out of my training course (PTS Harlow), still lots to learn about 'the real world' I'm in the odd position of having a part-time job 3 days a week and hoping to ease into tiling full-time, though expecting a slow start and a bit of a slog. Having got a decent basic set of tools I'll hold back on any major outlay until work and income justifies it. Any advice would be welcome.

Actually did my first bit of tiling for my girlfriend before taking my training course. Now see faults, but really quite relieved by what I got right. Looking back it was pretty ambitious, but if I get the chance at anything as big in the near future, I'll be looking to bring someone more experienced in on it, giving them the Lion's share on profit, because to be fair, I'd be learning from their experience.
