i did the 6 week ica course which included health and safety to gain us our cscs card. it was a good course and met some top blokes whom i hope to remain friends with. the guys running it were great and very helpful. only down side to this course was there was a lot of classroom work and i have would have liked more practical training but i understand giving the timescale why this was not possible. the course in my opinion should be 8 weeks but it would cost more and 8 weeks of not earning!but so far i havent come up against anything i couldnt cope with. i ve learned a hell of a lot from reading the threads of this site but as they say practice makes perfect. i ve started work on friends and family jobs and so far everyone has been really happy with my work (as am i). need to get speed up but i'm more concerned in producing a good job. just landed my first job outside friends and family which i start monday and have 2 more to quote this week.
