It is an old kitchen Tony and the plinths are screwed on.

How easy is it to cut plinths say for example like mine at home. They look like chipboard with the rubbish plastic wood looking finish. will this stuff just fall to bits if you attempt to cut ?
hi micky grout first then Silicon and yes they are chipboard either that or mdf but they will cut nicely either one sharp saw and cut from the front🙂

GAZTIP why not mix dry,50/50 rapid and standard set adhesive to take the pressure off,this will give you time but will still accelerate the drying/working time.....I would only advise the mix from the same manufacturer...after all its the same base product!:wink_smile:
