Thanks, never thought about the photos. I wanted a roman style bathtub. The idea
was to make it with the blocs and tank it with Ardex s7 then tile it. probably crazy I know,
wished I just bought a bath now. Well, it will be quite an excitement to rip it all out if I
don't succeed.

in my day we had to build our own shower trays.
I wouldnt use thermalite blocks if I was you as they absorb water
If the budget is healthy have a look at 50mm thick wedi board.If not use lbc bricks,cheep and cheerful and good for building airade shelters.
