Hi, I'm new here and have a question

Hi everyone, just found this forum and saying 'hi'. I hope I can ask a question here also.

I am thinking of putting glass mosaic tiles up for a splashback on the wall behind my hob. Would appreciate any help regarding drilling small holes to attach things like, a rod to hang cooking utensils and a small illuminated shelf. Is this possible please?
