Hi, just signed up to this forum for good advice

I have thought about training to become a good tiler for a while and after saving the pennies i have decided to jump in.

I have been in touch with NETT, are they a good choice? and are you good enough to get work after the intesive course?

and is it worth while doing more courses on top of this once ive passed?

any other advice would be good

Sorry i know you must get these questions all the time

Hello and welcome to the forums. The NETT course has some excellent feedback on this forum, check out course feedback here http://www.tilersforums.com/tiling-course-feedback/Yes you can make a go of it after doing a short course, but it is not just the training received, it is also down to the individual..good luck..Mark.

welcome to the forums....yes you learn enough on this course to set you up in business as a tiler....i did it!

Darren is an excellent tutor and delivers the course in an easy to understand fashion, great guy, very approachable. The course content covers everything,so in my opinion go for this course.

If you want advice on accomodation or anything else about the course you can pm me if you wish.........Bri

Hi and welcome:thumbsup: Darren,Tracey and the gang at NETT are very friendly and helpful. Darren goes through alot in quite a short time so be prepared to learn and work. As people have said there is only so much you can learn on a course and you cannot beat experience. You'll find alot of help and advice on this site.
Go for it and goodluck...Mike

Hi and welcome to the forums.

Qualifications are the way to go mate, NETT offer these as we do, plus a very small few other training centres (Diamond).

They will help you towards your NVQ2 too :)

Good Luck!
