im from ireland
i just joined this forum. im a regular on a few others as well. so give me a shout if you see me:yikes:.
im a carpenter (cabinet maker really) that does a bit of everything (within reason), mostly 1st fix wood and 2nd fix. installying attic insulation
i fit kitchens, wood floors,etc.
lately iv had a few jobs doing up houses so i have been ripping up the place and fitting new heating systems (plumber really ) but iv been doing the donkey work , busting up floors, running pipes , lagging pipes etc. you know to keep the cost down and to keep the money in my pocket:hurray:.
anyway there have been a few small tiling jobs to be done. just small ones like tiles behind a sink , fixing the floor,etc) but they have been getting bigger .
i thought it was time i learned (got some advice anyway) on doing it right.
