Hi

registered a few days ago, but I have been so busy I haven't had time to say hello. I am a plumber and I have my own company with 2 - 5 staff depending on the jobs. We mainly do bathrooms and some kitchens as well as 1st and 2nd plumbing fix jobs. I used to do my own tiling, it wasn't bad but I was too slow and projects weren't being completed as quickly as i wanted. The guy i normally used was in so much demand, if you were late on a job you lost him for months. I decided to do a course to speed up and chose NETT in South Shields. I wasn't expecting it to be as informative as it was for such a short intensive course. Every item was a golden nugget making sense of setting out and cuts etc. I think everything has been said about the course from a career change point of view ( extremely positive ). However from my perspective as an owner of a bathroom/kitchen company it was very beneficial and a must for those already in the fitting trade. It will help me justify my prices and win more quotes. I'm looking forward to the natural stone course coming up, as it will lift my company above the rest in my area hopefully. I will be sending some of my staff on the courses also.

Pete
