Hi Guys, thanks for the reply's although I didn't intend on starting an arguement.

Sir Ramic was quite right , I did intend to start this at the end of 2010 but due to bad health it all got put on hold until I retired.

I guess I was looking to see if it was worth getting the floor honed and polished before everything went back in the room and became a bit more awkward, my reason was simply to eliminate any lippage and give it a good polish. As I wasn't aware of costings I was hoping someone would be able to give me a rough idea of a job like this, its about 30 square metres. It sounds like due to issues such as diamond wear I'm going to struggle getting a price.

Thanks for all the debate I've got a bit better understanding of it now.
