I thought I would share these pictures with you of a customers bathroom that he tiled back in the 90's. Not only does he do tiling, but he also does electrical wiring (inc. putting in sockets in a bathroom). He can turn his hand at plumbing too.......but flooding the bathroom and the dining room was not his fault! He does plastering (to hide the damp), but again it was not his fault that the damp returned. His favourite trick is to pull up the floorboards and lay what looks like wooden doors to fill the gap. His bathroom floor consists of floorboards partly covered in concrete and wire mesh. He led me to believe that he has bought all the tiles and materials from Topps, but when I popped into Topps they said that he only came in for a quote. His measuring skills are pretty accurate. He measured the walls to be 16 square metres. I measured them to be 30sqm. I don't have any work on at the moment and I am seriously thinking of quoting a day rate for this job. He is going to help me too. All the signs are there for me to walk away, but the phone is not ringing with any other offers. I was thinking of asking for a day rate to be paid every 5 days. i.e. not when the job is complete. Do you think this is acceptable? Enjoy the pics. Sean
