Just wondering how some of you got in to tiling and how long did it take to learn. Do you own your own firm?

Hi Lewis, I think you will find most tilers are sub-contractors to building companies or self employed in the domestic market.
I have been tiling for over 20 years, as for learning......you never stop mate.
There are new products and tiling solutions launched every year.

Thanks matey. I'm just looming for ways to get in to the tiling trade but the economy isn't really to good for new starters at the mo. Thanks again

i started tiling on building sites.........did it for ten years before going on my own.
