Ohhhh Sir Ramic

The photos Picture 2 of 16 from Woodford are wonderful. This is exactly what I would like the tiles finish/joints to look like. Perfect.

This is a marvellous forum and has given me priceless help.

Thank you soooooooooooooo much. Now I know it can be done. ::):

I wouldn't recommmend having mitred tiles in a bathroom, use metal or plasitic tiletrims. As for setting out, the bond of the tiles will have to break if you tile the boxings, and could look a bit 'busy' with all the lines and cute everywhere.
Are you sure you want 400x250 tiles on the diagonal? Lay an area out on the floor and visual the effect you will get.

Where was this mentioned ? Did I miss something ? I thought al we were talking about was Mitring edges instead of trim ?

Dear Sir Ramic and all that reply to this thread,

I am very grateful and have read all the answers carefully and followed the links provided.

My knowledge in tile fitting has increased from none to a thousand. My understanding is that tiling pipe boxes and windows is not easy... not easy at all.

I'll speak with the bathroom fitters and ask for a demonstration of the 45 degrees cutting, see how it works and take it from there.

Thank you so much to all of you and this forum.

All the best,

JKLstar
