how do you price entrances

I did price estimate for small house entrance:
fit seven stone treads and risers, approx.
treads-1050x300x40
risers-1050x100x40
i'm supplying adhesive, grout, stain stop.

What would be your price? (labour only)

I think the most money you can make is on entrances, wall cladding, vanity tops, fire places, kitchen worktops... . So better not to do day rate. Day rate could be only for prep. Some times i feel like ripping people off, but again i harge normal rates for that cind of things ...

per step complete. if done on day rate you loose money we charge for skill not time everybodys got a watch but not the skill why sell cheap .£30 to£50 a step

It's a job with a value, and if the Architect and Client are happy with your price then that's the value - if they didn't accept you didn't have the right price. Every job is different and most unique - even here you have just 100mm risers!
