How Good Is The Dw24000

Anyone know how well this wet saw cuts sandstone, limestone etc and at what max thickness it can cut. I also build stone fireplaces and use a con saw but my con saw packed in and with me needing a new tile cutter aswell, maybe i could kill 2 birds and buy the dw2400 for both jobs.

I've had my dewalt for years now & it's a great machine, actually used it today for a riven surface ceramic tile, I normally only use it for natural stone & the thickest I've cut with it is a 15mm limestone tile.
Cut bricks down with it.

How good?.......good enough to cut 20mm Bastille limestone flagstones this week.
Depending on what your cutting the arm can be a bit limiting sometimes(about 350mm on the LHS),but you can work round that.

I was thinking maybe 6inch or there abouts thickness. Could it cut that thick?

Er, no. Not unless you plan on cutting from one side, then the other. Max depth of cut is 95mm

Not bad, can cut both sides then hit with lump hammer.

Ats diamond tools make a nice little wheel to bullnose that fits the d24000 which I think is a nice little additional feature that most other cutters don't have

Well worth getting if you have a D24000. Here is a small travertine windowsill I did last year for a customer
