How Long Before I Can Walk On MY Tiles?

I just laid some 400x600 tiles with Bal Single Part Flexible, but how long before I can safely walk on them to continue laying my cut tiles around the edge?

Substrate (top to bottom) is 8mm latex SLC with embedded heating mat, 12.5mm Aquapanel, 3mm tile adhesive and 22mm T&G chipboard.

Spec from Bal states:

Open Time - 20 mins
Pot Life - 5 hours
Setting Time - 16 hours

Do I (should I) have to wait 16 hours?

What temperature are they basing that on?

Why didnt you use rapid?

Over night and it will be fine..

That's based on 20 deg C. The floor where the tiles are laid are is probably around 16 deg C, so maybe add 25% to those drying times.

I didn't use rapid because I'm not a pro, and it would have been asking for trouble...

Just mix in small quantities Rob, i spent years trying to lay fast with a whole tub of mixed rapid! Threw loads away as it went off too quick.
