How Low Would You Go???

Hey all just a short one Whatis the lowest hourly rate you would work for and the lowest sq mtr rate you would work for on site workin under CIS
NOW BE HONEST JUST BECAUSE JOE BLOGS WANT'S X AMOUNT DON'T MEAN YOU HAVE TO WANT THAT
Only askin as i may need some more tiler s on a contract

P.S. I know how much i would pay just want to now how much you guys think you are worth.

hi tiling just work out a local day rate £100 most trades ,and go from there dont let people take you for a ride £60 half day
thats just where i am but you will find that prices vary a lot so charge what your happy with

hourly rate....12- 14 pound 10 hour day

sq mtr...between 10 and 12

these are typical rates in the contract side of the industry
for a straightforward ceramic job...rates for stone,mosaic etc will have to be adjusted accordingly and the complexity of the job will also be reflected in any rates that you pay too!:icon6:

I have worked in contract tiling most of my working life and i no how much i charge. £120 on day rate fixing a minimum of 10 sq mtrs as a subby thats about the norm accross the country. As a contractor i charge considerably more to the main contractor after all its not just the time spent on site, someone has to sit and work prices from drawings do risk assesments order different tiles for different plots sort invoices the list goes on. To be able to pay £120 aday you have to charge more

I only want 2 cammels, a goat, 3 sheep and a picture of tilers forum boyz in tutu's!!.

Other than that i always loo for around £150 a day or 18-20 per sq metre on the walls without bits.
