Similar story, did an indian restauant once and they couldn't stop themselves. Put cardboard on newly laid tiles with 'wet' written on and they thought it said walk!!Over the years I have had some Idiots walk on my work, one that sticks in my mind was a public house. I had just finished tiling 4 steps in sand and cement, I carefully rigged up a youngman board to form a safe ramp for the regulars to use. When suddenly this guy
appears at the top step, and proceeds to straddle the ramp and trashed a mornings work.
I was gobsmacked, I asked him (in a few choice words) what he was thinking. He just said "sorry mate I thought I wasn't allowed to walk on the board" Arrrrrrrrgh. Don't you just love the public. The joys of being a tiler eh!:mad2:
