I worked my price out and it came to £1100 then scrolled down, my opinion is some of you guys are way to cheap.

Yup, I'm starting to wonder... Then again, I've got over £3,500 of work (labour costs alone) booked this month so I'm not complaining!
If I can do this 10 months out of 12 then I'll be a very happy bunny.

As a rule I have found most tilers on this forum charge kind a the same rate. Now you probably think that if you have charged in the region of some of the responses then how come you were laughed at. This is simple, customers do not appreciate that if you want somebody to do a job that you consider to be DIY the why are the charging a professional rate? This is irrelevant of the fact they do not feel capable themselves. These are the same people that take their car to be serviced for 200+ because they consider it to be a professional job when it is a new filter, fresh oil and clean the spark plugs.

The point I am trying to make is that some people do not appreciate what is involved and will try to get a cheaper quote.

Do not lower your rate and undervalue yourself because some numpty does not see you worth. Just move on to the next quote.
