how much would you guys charge for mosaic

straight on to a pre-pared surface and grout, m2 labour only ? . so all you would have to do is mix spread /lay the mosaic then grout it ,all materials supplied and a perfect sub straight to tile on to then i will tell you how much i charge !
i'am just trying to see if i'am to expensive !!! thanks for all replies guys

Same as Bri, I've normally charged £50m2 but thats supplying materials but depending on the mosaic...natural stone etc.

When do shower rooms i charge £50-£60 per sq.m depends on mosaics. but for large area could do £40-£45 as mosaics easy to do when prep is good, only takes longer to grout

I probably would, theres a good meterage to get stuck into...and that makes a big difference.

Always a bit of movement in price when it's a big area, prob come down to £35 maybe £30, depends on the quality of the mosaic, as I'm sure you know Dave, some are put on the sheets very well and require very little adjusting, some are put on the mesh with pritt stick by a drunk badger, and require mucho adjusting :lol:

WELL i must be cheap at £30 for the same, :yikes: but then i do big m2 all the time of mosaic , i thought my prices were getting left behind ! thanks fellers

don't think you are cheap, you do pools all the time so you know better then us/me . But i think you could go up a bit, £35-£40, but it's only my opinion

It's ages since I did mosaics but I charged £30 a metre for last kitchen splashback and normally about £5-7 per linear metre on borders dependant upon depth of border.

Pricing is always a worry, i saw some pricing here for stone and polished 60x60 porcelain that was much more than i price, so i've sneaked mine up a bit and i'm still getting the work.
As someone said to me..'do you get all the jobs you price for?',
'Yes' i said,
'You're not charging enough then!' was his reply.

He does have a point! If you have a good reputation, then why not earn what you should, it seems the cowboys and bodgers get away with pricing more than we would ever dream of, and then do a duff job!!!
