Just been around to price a job so told him i will get back to him tomorrow with an accurate price.

11m2 kitchen , 2 windows to tile around and the doorway is arched so fiddley cuts around it.
Have a price i think i should charge so wondering what you think for a price, basically want to know if i am getting the hang of these prices 🙂

Said would prob take 2 days to do, that a reasonable time scale or should i be doing these in 1 day?

What size tiles Mat. Are we taking 10x10s or something larger?

Personally i would be looking at 3 to 4 days including grout and Silicon, but maybe I am a bit slow. Presume it is bog standard 150mm square ceramic?

I'd probably go somewhere in the £300 - £350 range without seeing it

Hi Penno, do you work by yourself or do you have a "boy" with you. Only reason I ask is that doing a quick sum of the amount of tiles you need to fix excluding cuts comes out around 440 for your 11sq mt. If you are working by yourself, thats a lot of spacers to put in and take out, grout lines to keep clean as well as keeping your tools and stuff clean. I certainly would look at more than 2 days, but I am a beginner.

Don't make the mistake of underestimating how long things take. I have done so already and learnt the hard way.

Not very often I ever let the customer supply addy and grout.I'd only allow it if it was the type I usually use,one customer once told me he had some adhesive and grout all in one still left from a year ago and that I could use that,I told him he would have to find someone else if he wanted that using.Soon changed his mind.
Just work out how long it'll take you then add half a day and charge him by your day rate.
I still under estimate some jobs but I just put it down to experience,better to make sure the job is spot on than rush it just cause you think you should have it done in that time.If you have to work an extra day for free at least you'll know for next time and the customer will think their getting value for their money.
