hello all new to this site need help with posting threads think i was lucky finding this one any way how much would you start off with finished city & guilds in plumbing july just finished PTS course warrington starting up on my own having just been made redundant after 11 years so thought why not give it a go so just wondering if i came in around £20 M2 any advice would be welcome thanks

thats a fair price but remember to add materials onto your price when quoting.

Depends where you are based, some areas you may get away with more. I feel it is best to go in a bit low at first until you build a rep, then ease up your prices gradually. Supply and demand and all that.

I started with 20sq three years ago when i started, now i charge £30sq im based in sussex and i seem to get most jobs i price, i do a neat job, clean and tidy and the customers like me. Remember you are earning a living, so dont do it to cheap.
