Make friends with a really good heating engineer/ plumber. I met mine 9 years ago and i get loads of work from and with him. We make each other look good and work well together.
I've also learnt never work for builders. I'll take recommendations from them and work for their clients, but never for the builder.

Agreed never work for builders generally late payers .badly organised always saying it will be ready when it's not . Quite good at going at going bust so you won't get paid
Ask a few tilers if they get busy ,youll help a few days for free ,then once they seeyour work ,might give you a day a week or any jobs they cant do ,but if you contact 3 or 4 like this ,good luck
