So I get a call from a customer who asked me to take a look and see why the shower in her rented property is soaking the floor every time her tenant uses the shower.
I took a look this morning and after pulling out at least a tube of Silicon this is what I found..... I put a Stanley blade there to give you an idea of scale.
She asked for a quick fix ffs!! How do you do a quick fix on that lol.

The tiler that did this was probably well chuffed with his achievement too lol.

looks like the tray might have dropped from the picture. Rip it all out and replace
That's what I thought but it couldn't have dropped otherwise the shower screen / door would also have a gap under it too as the screen is side fixed to the walls. It's just a bad tiling job.

Best quick fix I could come up with until she is ready to rip out and replace.
So another tube of Silicon used to fill the void totally and then some angled trim fixed over the top is the best option. At the end of the day I can't polish a turd!!
