sounds like a typo Doug. if you're satisfied by looking at the service history, and no other company/finance house has an interest or charge over the vehicle, then you should be assured.

I once bought a Ford Focus from a reputable car supermarket in Derby and it leaked in water and became a swimming pool. I ran an HPI check on it, and it came back clean. But when my local garage had it up on ramps, they were so concerned about the state of it that they rang me. They put a report together saying that it had been in an accident, and badly repaired. None of which had every gone through the insurers. Something else to note for all you car/van/4x4 drivers.
