quiligotti,s is the biggest terrazzo suppler in the country i think they have been bought out by pilkintons
for that kind of yardage they,ll need a far bit of time
you'll need the the architect specs and a good look at the sub floor
and remember it takes longer to polish than lay

adrews of leeds usualy get that sort of job (there geared up for it )
----
thats one big job you got there to be honest never laid terrazo i would have thought a job like that would be carried out a large tiling firm my old boss who i sereved my apprenticeship with when he was an apprentice his firm tiled arndale in manchester and they had nearly 30 tilers on that job he told me he wouldnt touch terrazo work

how many of you are doing the job mz?

i was one of them tilers

An Aberdeen firm in Scotland has just phoned me up a couple of weeks ago to ask for a couple of tilers to do a 1200 metre job in a shopping mall 600 x 600 terrazzo 32mm thick, i gave them the names of a couple of tilers i trained a year ago thats doing well, they have got the job and the pay rate is £15 per metre, fit only, no grouting and no sealing to do, they are getting someone else in to do that part. Accomadation is in with the price as well, they are splitting the job at £9000 each, like i said though, no materials and no seal or grouting for that price. Hope this helps you out a bit for a guideline.

Thats one nightmare/sleepless night kind of jobs...............

I for 1 would'nt even consider quoting for this kind/size of job.

Not only have I never done terrazzo, I have never done a job that size...............

I think I just prefer my own company on the less nerve racking (fill ya undies) kind of jobs.

But hats off to ya if you do get it

Thats a big big job my friend, like you said I would cover your price well and then if you get it make a decision.

I'd want to know exactly what I was pricing for to the letter as well.

We've all seen people get stung by the lure of a mega job, keep your wits about you.

Is there a deadline, any stage payments, are retentions a possibility and how contractual is it likely to be/get?

Best of luck
