my new lappy has lasted about 3 months and is now hibernating, had this dell one for about 6 years and although slow and with a few keypads missing it's still battling on

Dave, it means you and your keyboards need therapy.... badly! :lol: I took mine to pieces not long ago, took all the keys off, painto get them back on with the springs set right, gave it a good cleanout, and now it's as good as new... nearly... But then I don't type at a millions strokes per minute....

Debs sez i tap the keyboard as if i hate it.. :lol:.. i just call it typing.. .. and my mouse now has a loose rubber slip..

Never had to replace anything on my computers. Still have my iMac g5 (7 years old now) with same keyboard and and mouse and my daughter now uses it after upgrading to a new one last year.

Had this lappy about 2 years and the screen has started to go beserk occasionally, so looks like I'm in for a new one soon, if my techy mate can't sort it.

Defo not and if I got close I would probably be divorced. When you get your new iMac it comes with a magic mouse that works like the screen on your iPhone, so no moving parts or rubbers to come off.

Depends on if my dog can get at it or not. He's eaten 2 mice and 2 headsets this year
