Take it to Citizens Advice and get them to steer you to a FOC employment lawyer. You'll get your money.

Next follow Robs advice, find out who is his biggest local competitor and go and explain what the muppet did to you. Explain to them that you want a chance to get even and see him go out of business. Do for them what you did for him and watch him lose everything.

Alternatively, go and have a chat with your local tile shops as it sounds as though you could do well in retail mate .

A friend of mine nearly got stung the same way last year. His interview consisted of being pushed straight onto a mini bus with 10 or so others and off they went doing door to door... as an interview!!

My mate clocked what was going on and left haha

He is now teaching english in china! :lol:

I dont mind the sales bit but its all the paper work that comes with it. The only reason im any good at it is i know how to talk too people. ill give him till tommorow then ill pop down at 5 and get my cash. its not just the point off i need the money its the point off i dont like some one trying to take advantage. As I have been in sales roles most of my life, I know that this goes on so much and could even show you all the adverts on the job websites that are IMO 'cons' they should be stopped but nobody out there cares, it's a disgrace :mad2:

UPDATE!
i rung him monday too see what the score was and he said come in wednesday. So after getting up in time to feed n walk kids to school then get home and walk the dogs and have a shower i got there. had a bit ff a chat then went to work everything went well then 5 oclock came and he wasnt there soo the other sales bloke said you can go home now. so i rung wife who was 20 mins away too come get me. so whilst i was outside i got a phone call from said salesmen saying we dont need you anymore dont come back!

I dont think e realised i was still in the car park so i walked back in "whilst on the phone to him and said you best pay me then better you. I think by my face resemberling a bull dog licking **** off a stinging nettle he got the hint.

Then i went back outside and waited for the wife id calmed down by the time she turned up and got my self abit ****ed off and deppressed. i just saw her little red punto come screeching round the corner like summat out off the A team then her jump out off the car like a pit bull (bearing in mind shes built like a elf.. all be it a pretty one!) and start marching towards the office too which i had to grab her managed to get her back in car and whilst trying not to laugh as shes never aggresive realised that there was no real need too be depressed the b.oke is a **** and one day i will see him out where theres no cctv lol.

So thats it lads. I applied to one off those "pass it on" shops as manager and iv been short listed so with abit off luck all will be well.

I was thinking this morning; have you tried contacting local Tile shops in your area to see if there is any retail vacancies you can apply for?

If you're good at sales, might as well combine it with your tiling knowledge and help customers at the same time. Start by contacting Tile Giant and some of the other larger tile stores and then see what happens.
