I have a Problem

Thank you all so much for your help with tiling questions in the past.
I now need advice on a Painting issue, it is probably simple but i just dont know how to take off a Paint Roller Sleeve & replace it with a new one.
Does anyone know how i can get the old Sleeve off, does it slide off & the new Sleeve slide on ? ( i have tried to slide it off but it would not budge), or do i have to cut it off with a sharp knife ?

Normallythere are two centreing wheel inserts one either end and the sleeve tube pushes over these. These just slide through the sleeve tube. They should be tight and may well be clogged with paint but should budge with a little bruteforce

If your using water based paint you can soak the roller in hot water. This should soften up any paint preventing the sleeve from pulling off but yeah just keep tugging it till it comes. You will likely get mess all over your hands etc but it just washes away
