Sounds an unlucky house!! Maybe you got drawn into the misery of it.... get out of there, Hugo!!! - I'd say the same to the owners, all sounds just no good....

You may have a point! ;)

What's worse is that I now appear to have totally lost my phone! It's been all day now and I can't find it. It's not a cheap one either :(

I've tried ringing it but I know it needs charging. I seem to remember having it on me when I got back but the wife and I have turned the usual places upsidedown and still no joy. I've been through the van.

Upwards and onwards hugo!!

In the grand scheme of things it's not that great I know. January though is an extremely expensive time for us at the moment. I'm having to chase a bank who ows us money for buildings insurance payable on a flat that they mortgaged and the previous owner handed the keys back to them after being made bancrupt. We own a flat in the same block and have to pay the buildings insurance up front then spend the next 2 months chasing them for their share.

The plan was today to get in contact with them to re establish communication. Last year they made a total mess of it all and the only way I got paid was to write directly to their CEO and a cheque arrived a week or so later. This year that hasn't worked. I'll need to research but I suspect that guy's moved on.
