From the sounds of it your situation is so complex given the various substrates that a site visit would be needed to offer advice with any conviction. In all honesty it may be that a different floor covering would be a cheaper option if the flooring is to run throughout or maybe a mixture of tiles and timber. Tiles can of course be installed but could prove expensive if the floor needs major alterations to accept them. Best get a pro tile in to advise:thumbsup:
