I want to become a tiler

Tilers Forums Official Sponsors

if div is looking to take on a nipper the government are providing £2500 for employers who take on 16-18 year olds. Nice bit of advice fellas(well most of ya)

imo you can go on any course there is, but until you go on tilers forum and talk to tilers as such as yourself, you aint got a clue. courses teach you the basics, TF teaches you the knowledge you need to succed.

LOL...he and MANY other aint got a "snowballs chance"....lets ALL BE HONEST ONLY very GOOD tile fixers will have work in front off them..i know you all have to invite them into your website..."sponsership" an ALL,,,... all pardon the spelling..BUT YOU ALL have to tell them all!!!!

come on ......4/5/6/8/7/8/9....day/weeks cousres were does it stop?

were does the 4year app.. go then not just in this trade but all other trades just look around sites like this and the sponsership ..which i think as more say than the members.

So if you are not here to help newcomers and other tilers then why are you using this forum.. if we are so for sponsorship to courses then what attracts you here..?

This forum is FREE to use Advice forum for new comers/ timeserved and DIY all in one forum.

The sponsors keep the forums FREE to use and help with the running costs associated with a large forum like this.

The course sponsors that support tilers forums have very good reputations , unlike others that are just about making money.

So that is the sponsors sorted..

what about you... why do you use tilersforums.com.... maybe you come looking for work and feel threatened by new comers to the tiling trade.

Either way this forum is for all, so please keep it cival towards ALL members.

Wow just read through the last 1 and half pages of this thread and i think ill need to re read it when im not so tired, alot was going on there lol.

I did say in my first post div that i was already expecting someone to slate me for going on a course, but im sure that a large number of succesful tilers have been on a course at some point whether it be 4 days or 4 months.

Anyway, im still going to do the course, the worst that can happen is i spend £300, learn some very small tips, and down the line end up tiling my own bathroom. Which the course states you will be able to do upon completion.

Thanks to everyone else who gave me advice and encouragement. I wont really say anything else directly to div except i like your name, because your post was a bit hard to read, although i can sort of appreciate the fact you trying to be honest.

Cheers
