whichever you decide Lynn, make sure your vehicle is full of diesel/petrol in case of delays. I was coming back from Perth a few weeks ago and it took me 12 hours due to stranded vehicles on the M90, was soooo glad I had filled up before I started my journey so that I could keep my engine and heater going. Have a safe journey

We are heading the opposite way Lynn. From Stoke to Romford but myself and Mr GRR have said we will do it Christmas morning. Hopefully in daylight, it will be safer. We're setting out at about 8am and aim to be at the out-laws for about 11ish. I can't imagine there will be much on the motorways on Christmas morning
