Ceramico tiling

Book on tiling swimming pools, in mosaic / various materials , do you think it would be a useful package of info, or not
ABSOLUTELY,, That is specialised knowledge that other tilers don't have!I assume there is a demand for it( I know I would snap a copy up) There is nothing out now on the market so I think it will be an exclusive thing. That paper that you wrote is fantastic and very factually descriptive, and I can only imagine a whole books worth of info!! Now if only the Victorian specialists on this forum where thinking the same thing!

Diamond Pool Finishers

Nah! Got to keep it specialised otherwise it will go the same way as stone - everyone's an expert!
This has been my way of thinking for years John ! it was passed down to me from the I-tie's who taught me the Tricks to give me the edge, but i'am 53 now and very established in the pool industry ,and as said it would be a first and there is usually money in being the first, i would like to help genuine tilers with some history in the trade, but not give knowledge to the wannabes & fakers out there , the tiler on the job we are halfway through gave me his business Card the other day , and on the front is yes a very good picture of a swimming pool, it says he does everything under the sun! and he is a pool specialist LOL so why is he not tiling the pool that they have got me in to tile? uh-uh i was to tied-up with work , i have this situation all the time on jobs ( and i would prefer this ! than a guy just having a go and causing upset to the customer by going -off half cocked ) so a book would help proper tilers get the job done to a high standard of work, rather than being laugh t off site or worse kicked -off ......

Great idea :).
But how would you stop 'the wannabes and fakers' from using it? Its the same with any book of this type thats produced.
Actually that might produce more work for you in sorting out their bodge jobs lol
