If I get a job from Tile Giant I will of course use Mapei gear. Any other job I use Weber set plus, 20kg, white at £9.99 a bag and it's great. Their rapid is grey and £7.99 for 20kg and is very good but very rapid and very alkaline. If you get your hands dirty like me it gives you ulcers on your finger tips within a day. Great for skimming walls with though.

It's good gear. I use it most of the time, the SPF low dust is great, 'cos if you're mixing inside you hardly get any dust puffing upwards in your face, they must extract the really fine dust somehow. It grabs well on walls and prevents too much tile slippage, but time it well, because when it starts skinning over, it sets very quickly.:smilewinkgrin:

It is your right to give your advice or opinion on products john if you so wish.. just coz they do not sponsor then it should not stop tile talk.. we are very open that way.. and don't stop chat on other products..
