"Any external sharp angles in the pool tank, should be avoided if possible for obvious reasons, if these have to be incorporated then do not use any form of metal angle-beads to form them, (not even stainless steel) as they will all over time corrode and oxidize under the tile layer. This will lead to tiles (de-laminating from the render/screed surface over time)".

WHo was it that had to quote for tiling onto a stainless steel substrate in a swimming pool last week... :lol:

well this is partly why,i have asked all tech dept's of leading tile addy makers to come -up with a suitable system ,and it being in effect the pool cover, it will not be totally submerged,and only submerged for short periods of time, also this might not be the final sub straight used ,as this might be changeable . clever clog's oh sorry your not Dutch :lol:

By the way, you're right. WE invented clogs, not the Dutch...
