I'm going camping!

seen as my passport has expired, I shall be holidaying in the UK this year. so we got the tent out yesterday and put it up to check it over. it's a 5-man Vango dome tent and we've only used it 3 times since its purchase in 2004

anyway, i've been looking at getting some extra bits as the tent's living area is a bit small, and today we went to a local camping exhibition and bought an extension canopy.

when both the tent and canopy are together, the whole lot is over 14feet long by 10 feet wide :yikes:

and I couldn't fit it all in to one photograph :lol:

let's hope we have some nice summer weather :hurray:

I must admit I have never been to Wales in my life, I'm sure I will visit one day

hate camping, Two nights max then I'm ready to kill some body

I don't like going camping when it's mega busy and full of noisy people (Renault World Series 2009 campsite next to Silverstone last July, and campsite in Matlock last August bank holiday were particularly horrendous)

but if it's quiet and the weather is good, i buy a good book and chill out :yesnod:

it's still a relatively cheap holiday option and when the weather is good in the UK, camping is excellent :8:

I love camping. Used to go several times a year but time and money don't seem to coincide these days. haven't been for 18 months. I prefer North Wales although have speant some happy times down in the Brecon Beacons as well....
