im looking for a new drill. any suggestions?

i need a new, good all round drill. id rather not pay more than 200 for it. ive never known much about tools and just gone on recomendations so any help would be great.

If cordless then my preference is Makita and for around the £200 you could buy a good one.
18v 3.0 ah Li- ion is a good spec.

dewalt/makita/bosch all do good multi use drills, i use a dewalt, good drill got in a sale @ b&Q. check for the amp hour of the drill, and the volts 18v will be good, 1.3 ah will not last long get one with a little more umph . look out for sales @ screwfix/b&q

I had one and was great, i gave it to my helper when i bought a bigger one from Ed on here.
I'v been using makita a long time now without problems.
That one linked too can come with 2 batteries for 250 or so.
I'v seen them slightly cheaper too.

my olde dewalt not failed me yet but when the old girl eventually dies. maybe get one of these.

Have used Metabo in the past and currently use Milwaukee 18v,cant reccomend milwaukee enough!

Dewalt for me paid just over 200 for mine 12 months ago and still going strong

DeWalt DCD925B2 18V Combi Drill 2 x 2.6Ah Batteries

We did use these Dewalts (had two of them) and we now use Makita

Just watch out for the voltage changes on building sites etc for the chargers. Ours are 240V
Had to bring plenty of spare batteries to this job as its 110v
