Info on Basalt stone tiling

Hi everyone
i am currently putting an estimate together for Basalt stone and i have never tiled in this stone, any advice on how its cuts or general use of the tile would be very greatfull

looks very much like honed grey slate. cut easy as it is a volcanic rock with silk texture to the face . seal with lithofin . finish with stone satin wax

Best to see what finish the customer wants.. i personally would'nt use an acrylic sealer and just a high quality impregnator..

Is it flamed finish..?

cheers for the advice, not sure if it flamed finished as not seen the tile, i was thinking on the lines of a good impregnator but just wanted extra advice.
