Although the material inside is lighter, is the tub size (by volume) the same as a normal 15kg (10 litres) tub of Mapegrip D2?

From the video the lightweight appears to be linked to the same amount of adhesive covering a larger area that a 'typical' ready mix. So there is less adhesive per area/tile?
I see the specifications mention wet rooms. What does water resistant mean in this case, I see it on a lot of adhesive products? It also says not suitable for non porous backgrounds (and it's a dispersal type) so would this mean it could not be used on a latex paint type covering?

Hiya, in response to your post above:
- no the video shows that you will get more adhesive for less weight.
- One of the backgrounds must be pourous either the surface or the tile.
- Water resistant means that the product will not break down in water, not that it is waterproof.
