Hi everyone i am new to this site. i am currently on a tiling course Diploma level 2. looking to do level 3 when this course ends in July. I am looking to become self employed as a tiler. I know this isn't going to happen overnight. But a gradual process. So if any of you Tilers out there have got any usefull ideas/tips/info i would be very grateful. Thankyou. Happy Tiling:hurray:.

Hi and welcome, it will be slow at first, try to do some work for friends/family to get the hang of the work in the real world, away from the training.

welcome to the forum mate. would be good if you could latch on to an experienced tiler to labour for free to gain some valueable experience. there's quite a few tilers on here from the midlands

:welcome: and the best tip i can give you, is to get on the forum here as much as you can. all you need to know and more

Spooner.i.Am welcome to the forum, plenty of biased, unhelpful, and above all innacurrate advice here. nah, plenty of help, guidance and support just when you need it. Get in touch with some of the WM members and see if they can get you on board

i have plenty of experience working in customers home as i have done this for the past 8 yrs but not as a tiler, i have done a few tiling jobs for friends and family which i enjoyed. i have a kitchen floor to do for my sister so that should be interesting. thanks for the advise anyway.
