my lappies keep getting wrecked so Lou said she'll get me an i-pad for my birthday, (my 50th in a couple of months), but in all honesty I'd rather have a jcb lappy (if there is such a thing lol)

Any decent iPad app recommends ?

Invoice to go is a must, rattle them out in no time. Sky news app is really good too. Action movie really good for a laugh, with a bit of tinkering can be made to look so realistic. Was also using airbeam recently to keep an eye on the bambino at night ( turns phone into live video streaming viewed from iPad). Love how you can remotely turn torch on and off.

Download to phone and iPad then you can use phones camera in real time and view through iPad. Super sharp picture, motion detection, control flash remotely ie dark room can be lit up to view. Great little app.

what's the screen size like on them ?, atm I'm on Lou's old lappy,(Ruby and a glass of red buggered mine) a 15.4 inch screen, Lou's android samsung is about 10" screen and although my eyesight is fine I find screen a bit too small. Or is it something that you just adjust to?

9.7" on the ipad4 but the retina display is what makes it awesome , something a laptop or android tablet cannot give you..

text is very crisp and the videos etc are very clear and fast with the A6 processor.. and best of all NO security software needed with an Ipad , unlike the androids..

NAH .. loads and loads are FREE ... if you have to buy one that you like , then 69p is the average price... it just depends what you want..

Ibooks comes with it and i have loaded all my PDF's to that , like my anhydrite ones and all my TTA technical data books etc..

well kids have both got tabs now, so I guess there's no reason why I can't have one all to me sen, without getting cluttered up with Minecraft and Friv,,food for thought now Mr Howe
