I use 1&1 I done the website myself, but I find having my own domain with email seems more professional when sending out quotations, rather than @Hotmail or gmail etc.. Can't say I have had a job through my site but I'm sure some customers must have a look after receiving the e-mail lol.

I find it generates work for me. I advertise through yell and a lot of people say that they contacted me because I have a website where they can see my work.

Does yell get you work,never advertised myself,I always think it just generates phantom jobs rather than real ones,good it works for you though

Yea get a little from it. I do turn most of it away as they won't it done normally next week. But in my eyes for 26 a month it's worth it.
