im after a waterproofing product where you can put ontop of tiles and it dries clear.

There is one in oz but need to know if there is one available here.

My brothers shower is leaking and doesnt want to rip up the tiles. There are slate tiles on the shower floor.

ANy suggestions??

I would be wary of sealing, depending on how much water has already ingressed. However, I use Sealguard (check the sponsors link) to make grout water repellent. You can spray it on and it dries with no residue and stops water from penetrating the grout, I finish every shower area off with it.

Hope this helps.

I've seen this product but its £25 a can! Do you price it in with the job and how many showers will it do?

I tend to have at least 1 can in the van and it seems to last quite well. I usually get aroung 20m2 out of a can.

Part of my waffle to a customer when I am pricing a job includes the benefits of sealing the grout. It all adds to my credibility and often means that I can charge that little bit more and still win the job!

I think you need to source the leak before you attempt to seal the grout....sealguard is a protector not a tanking product...........
