I’m just about to make a start with the walls and floor of my new wetroom
The walls are metal stud walling
And are to be finished with a combination of Cement particle board
In the wet areas and adjacent areas
And MR plasterboard on the far end of the wetroom.
On closer inspection of the boards I’ve bought
They appear to be wood fibre core cement boards
They are smooth dark grey boards 12mm thick
With what looks like metal particles inside when looking at the sides of the board
Apparently the boards have excellent water resistance etc and are also used in external cladding etc
But can someone in the know confirm that I can use these?
The construction of the walls will be
Cement particle board
Impey tanking membrane system
Flexible adhesive
Tile
